Evening Events


The conference offers a number of social events to allow our delegates to get to know one another, relax and network outside of the main Conference programme. 

We're still working on the Programme and we're excited by the number of possible events we might introduce into the 2018 conference. Watch this space!  

Tuesday 3 April 

A Taste of MathsJam

060 ATM 2015Socialise with like-minded self-confessed maths enthusiasts in the conference bar. Share puzzles, games, problems, or just anything you think is cool or interesting. We'll be joined by maths presenter Katie Steckles, who coordinates the international MathsJam movement in pubs all over the world. The first round (of puzzles) is on us!

Quiz, 21:00 Onwards

quiz Conf QuizBack by popular demand, the quiz will be hosted with favourite presenters Colin Penfold and Tony Cotton!

Don't have a team yet? Turn up anyway and we'll help you find one. It's a great way to make new friends. We have some great prizes up for grabs so scrub-up on your general knowledge! 

Every answer contains a number or a homophone for a number.

Thursday 5 April

Conference Dinner and After Dinner Speaker, 19:30 Onwards 

We invite you to join us for the British Congress of Mathematical Education Conference Dinner in the Rootes PanoramSuite at the University of Warwick. Guests will enjoy a three-course meal with wine, followed by the after-dinner speaker, Hannah Fry.
